Christmas Eve Melee

Lisa did it again. 5+ years ago on Christmas Eve, Lisa surprised all of the boys with Lightsabers. The boys loved it and Dad loved it too because it helped get my beautiful wife over her no weapons for toys rule that she had at the time. (As an editorial side note, boys will turn anything into a weapon, usually a gun. It is in their genes. I have seen carrots and french fries turned into guns by small children in highchairs who watch gun-free PBS Kids exclusively.)

So, on Christmas Eve, after the gift exchange, Lisa pulls out 10+ toy swords and tells the kids to go to it. Which they quickly did. Oh how they love Aunt Lisa.

Love it Christmas Eve with the weapons. Light saber year was so fun especially with all the lights out. All of you made weapons out of lego's all the time and just about anything else you found.

You missed the best part- glow in the dark swords on Christmas. Lily finally melted down towards the end of the day b/c she REALLY wanted one. Jax offered her several others but she was very vocally inconsolable.
