My current job requires a lot of traveling. Regrettably, I had to miss Gideon's birthday last week. He turned 7 year's old on January 19th. It is a bit of a sad picture, but the phone in the photo is me on speaker phone. I was at a business dinner in Cleveland and had everyone at the table singing happy birthday into my cell phone. Very fun, but I of course would have preferred to have been home.

Cute fishy cake! the phone in the picture does make it sad, but at least you could sort of be there. It's better than nothing.
